Client and Pet Field Directions
let you add detailed sub-headings under any Client or Pet field---so you can give your clients extra context without overloading the field label itself. Directions respect your existing visibility settings, so they only appear to the same roles that can already see the field.
Here's how it works:
  • Enable Directions
    : Go to
    Admin > Business Settings > Clients > Client Fields
    (or
    Pet Fields
    ), and you'll see a new
    Directions
    textbox beneath each field label. Type any supplemental instructions here.
  • Role-Based Display
    : Directions inherit your field's show/hide rules for Clients, Managers, and Sitters---if a user can't see the field, they won't see its directions.
  • Rich, Inline Guidance
    : Use the Directions box to enter longer, free-form help text---formatting, examples, or extra notes---without crowding the main label.
