We’re rolling out a powerful set of internal improvements to help you work more efficiently, manage staff with greater flexibility, and keep your operations organized. These updates are all about giving you smarter tools behind the scenes—refining how you navigate, export, segment, and configure your system. Let’s dive into what’s new. 🔧
We've reorganized and renamed parts of the system to make things easier to find and more intuitive—especially for new staff. Staff now see new navigation groups like
Profiles
,
Operations
, and
Staff
, while clients benefit from a simplified, ungrouped layout. An in-system walkthrough will guide everyone through the changes.
You can now export spreadsheets and pet photos directly to
Google Drive
! Save spreadsheets as Google Sheets or send photos to Drive without downloading files. Look for the
"Drive"
button in your export options.
Give clients helpful guidance without cluttering field labels. Field directions let you add sub-headings to
Client and Pet fields
, inheriting visibility settings automatically. Use them to add examples, notes, or formatting tips.
This powerful feature lets you organize staff based on
Date of Hire, Tags, Account Type
, and more. Use staff segments to control pay rates, message groups, assign visits, and filter reports. Think of it as Smart Groups—now for your staff.
You can now add

, making it easier to group and filter your team. Combine this with staff segments for advanced management workflows.
Gain control over which journals go to clients. Require approval

. Journals are only sent after approval if any of these settings are enabled.
⚙️ Minor updates
  • Online payments policy
    : Add a policy notice in
    Billing Settings > Online Payments
    . It appears when clients update their billing info or make a payment.
  • Selective exporting
    : When exporting from most pages, you can now choose to export only the checkmarked items instead of the entire page.
  • Payroll export enhancements
    : Special export formats are now available for
    Gusto
    and
    ADP
    .
  • Trip cancellation warning for clients
    : When editing a trip and changing the status to
    Canceled
    , clients now see a proactive pop-up reminding them that this does
    not
    cancel the associated services unless they select that option.

Adjusting tip distributions is now easier than ever! Our new Tip Distribution Tool allows you to view and adjust how gratuities are allocated across visits, right from the Invoices page. More info
You can now enable automatic email notifications when a client’s credit card is declined. This helps streamline your payment collection process and keeps clients informed. More info
Keep your inbox organized with new options to archive messages and mark them as read/unread in bulk. These tools make it easier to manage conversations efficiently. More info
