Our latest mobile app update is 
now fully rolled out to iOS and Android
. This release focuses on improving journaling (including video support), GPS reliability, and overall sitter workflows, along with a number of interface updates.
During the initial rollout, we identified an issue affecting journal syncing on unstable connections for some Android users. The rollout was paused while this was addressed.
We've recorded a short walkthrough video that explains the changes.

  • ComposeIQ (AI Journal Assistance)
    : Generate journal notes using visit details, with multiple tone options and full edit control before submitting.
  • Video Support in Journals
    : Add short video clips alongside photos for richer updates.
  • Improved GPS Tracking + Live Timer
    : More consistent tracking across devices, with a visible timer while GPS is active (Live Activities on iOS, notification on Android).
  • Undo Arrival
    : Fix accidental arrivals directly from the visit without needing manager intervention.
  • Faster Workflow Actions
    : Hold-to-confirm for actions like Arrive to reduce taps
  • Interface & Usability Updates
    : Visual refinements across the app, including improved status bar and scrolling notification behavior.
  • Confirm Cancel (Journal Entries)
    : Prevent accidental loss of work with a confirmation prompt when canceling a journal.

We're excited to introduce
PPC Labs
, a new way to access features that are currently in active development.
You can now choose the individual features that matter most to your business instead of opting into everything at once.
Each feature will appear as either:
  • On / Off
    : turns on immediately
  • Included / Not Included
    : unlocks the feature so you can configure it
All features start as Off or Not Included, and nothing changes unless you choose to opt in.
These features are fully functional and still evolving. Your feedback helps us refine them and move them toward full release.

Introducing: Client Experience Checkup
This new tool reviews your current setup and highlights configuration choices that may be creating client friction, such as:
  • Clients getting stuck during onboarding
  • "I can't schedule" messages
  • Confusion about service selection
  • Extra time spent helping clients complete requests
It does not change any settings automatically. It simply surfaces potential friction and provides clear suggestions you can act on.

  • Form Builder
  • Business Settings
Click the score to open the full Checkup.
If you would like help reviewing your results, you can request a review directly from within the tool.

We've reorganized and renamed parts of the system to make things easier to find and more intuitive—especially for new staff. Staff now see new navigation groups like

, while clients benefit from a simplified, ungrouped layout. An in-system walkthrough will guide everyone through the changes.
You can now export spreadsheets and pet photos directly to
Google Drive
! Save spreadsheets as Google Sheets or send photos to Drive without downloading files. Look for the
"Drive"
button in your export options.
Give clients helpful guidance without cluttering field labels. Field directions let you add sub-headings to
Client and Pet fields
, inheriting visibility settings automatically. Use them to add examples, notes, or formatting tips.
This powerful feature lets you organize staff based on
Date of Hire, Tags, Account Type
, and more. Use staff segments to control pay rates, message groups, assign visits, and filter reports. Think of it as Smart Groups—now for your staff.

Gain control over which journals go to clients. Require approval

  • Online payments policy
    : Add a policy notice in
    Billing Settings > Online Payments
    . It appears when clients update their billing info or make a payment.
  • Selective exporting
    : When exporting from most pages, you can now choose to export only the checkmarked items instead of the entire page.
  • Payroll export enhancements
    : Special export formats are now available for
    Gusto
    and
    ADP
    .
  • Trip cancellation warning for clients
    : When editing a trip and changing the status to
    Canceled
    , clients now see a proactive pop-up reminding them that this does

PetIQ is our new AI-powered tool that generates concise summaries of pet profiles, helping you and your sitters quickly review key details. These summaries update automatically when pet info changes and only include information that the viewer already can see. More info
You can now restrict specific services to designated client groups, ensuring only the right clients have access to them. This makes it easier to offer specialized services based on client tags, territories and more. More info
Adjusting tip distributions is now easier than ever! Our new Tip Distribution Tool allows you to view and adjust how gratuities are allocated across visits, right from the Invoices page. More info
