Automated Data Exports is available through PPC Labs.
It allows Administrators to schedule exports from Precise Petcare and deliver the resulting files to Google Drive automatically.
Automated Exports use the same data, terminology, permissions, and formatting as the corresponding exports already available throughout Precise Petcare. This makes them useful for recurring reporting, payroll preparation, data analysis, backups, and connections to other systems without requiring someone to manually download the same information each time.
Choose what to export
Each Automated Export covers one type of data. Available choices depend on the features enabled for the business and the Administrator’s access.
Supported data includes:

  • Services
  • Time Blocks
  • Staff Groups
  • Invoices
  • Transactions
  • Service Packages
  • Client Packages
  • Keys
  • Timesheet/Mileage
  • Payroll
The exported CSV uses the existing export fields for that area of Precise Petcare, including record IDs that can be used when organizing or connecting information outside the system.
Payroll exports can use the standard CSV format or formats prepared for
Gusto (contractors)
,
Gusto (employees)
,
ADP
, and
Paychex
.
Private credentials and other information that is not part of the corresponding Precise Petcare export are not added to an Automated Export.
Select the records and dates
Client Profile and Pet Profile exports can include:
  • All Records
  • Changes Since Last Export
Changes Since Last Export is useful for keeping another system updated without exporting every profile each day. Test Exports and recurring full exports establish a complete list before subsequent changes are delivered. Removed records are also identified so they can be reconciled outside Precise Petcare.
For date-based information, such as Visits, Trips, Invoices, Transactions, Timesheet/Mileage, and Payroll, choose the
Date Range
that should be included. Available ranges are adjusted according to the selected data and Frequency.
For example, a Visit export can cover upcoming work, while a Payroll or Transactions export covers an appropriate completed period.
Set the schedule
Automated Exports can run:
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
Choose the time, the day of the week for a Weekly export, or the day of the month for a Monthly export. If the selected day does not exist in a shorter month, the export runs on the final day of that month.
The schedule uses the Administrator’s timezone from
My Account
.
Each export is created for the currently selected business location. Administrators with access to multiple locations can configure the exports needed for each location separately.
Connect Google Drive
Automated Exports are delivered to a connected Google Drive account. The
Google Drive
section under Exports shows the connected account and destination folder.
New or changed Automated Exports remain
Paused
until a successful
Test Export
confirms the data, permissions, and Google Drive destination. After reviewing the test files, the schedule can be enabled.
Editing an enabled export pauses it so the updated configuration can be tested before scheduled delivery resumes.
A verified export can also be started at any time with
Run Now
without changing its normal schedule.
Review Export History
History
records Test Exports, Run Now exports, scheduled exports, retries, and supported manual exports.
Each entry shows its current status and, after a successful delivery, links to the files in Google Drive. History also records the original Date Range used for that run, so relative choices such as Last Week or Next 14 Days remain clear after the export is completed.
If an export is interrupted or Google Drive temporarily cannot confirm delivery, History provides the current status and the appropriate retry or recovery action. The Administrator is also notified when an Automated Export fails, is delayed, or requires the Google Drive connection to be restored.
Deleting an Automated Export stops future scheduled work but retains its History and files already delivered to Google Drive. Disconnecting Google Drive pauses the affected exports without removing delivered files.

Automated Export schedules and their Google Drive connection are managed by Administrators. Available data continues to follow the Administrator’s existing page and export permissions.
