Communication Overhaul

Original title: Centralize Journals and Messages on Client Profiles
Would love the ability to have messages and journals all combined in central location in each clients profile and available for sitters to see the history of the communication and the journals. There would probably need to be an option for clients to be able to send a private message to only management.

Seeing messages easier & seeing scheduled messages on master schedule
P
Pamela Stonehouse
Messaging: 1. Creating scheduled messages to go out with options of more than one date. If we want to create a monthly reminder message we have to set it up each month. 2. On the master schedule show scheduled messages that are to go out on a specific date. If we have a message to go out in October reminding clients to schedule holidays we can see that on the master in a color block at the top of the day.

On the notes to office, could you please add an edit button in case you needed to change a note or add to it?? It’s frustrating and can be confusing to have to start a whole new message.

Navigation while in Messages

When I’m in Messages and looking at the list of recently received messages, I would like to be able to click on a client’s name and have it take me back to their profile instead of it opening a new message block to send an email.

Auto-Responder for Incoming Portal Messages

It would be helpful to have an auto-responder for incoming messages within the client portal, similar to email auto-replies.
For example, if a message is received outside of business hours, the system could automatically send a response.

adding notify by to confirmation communications

when you choose to "message" a client it gives the option of how you would like to send that communication. Recipient preference, email only, or sms only. It would be extremely helpful to have that ability when sending a Confirmation. Currently it only seems to send it through SMS to the majority of my clients and then can't see the list of their upcoming scheduled appts even when clicking on the detail URL. It's just blank.

Messaging Updates

Amber Fontaine
A few issues I’ve experienced with the messaging system that need improvement:
-Simplify inbox format: Each response from a different manager in a group message opens up a new message entirely in the inbox so one message chain can turn into dozens of messages.
-Create an option to write a follow up message within the same message if no one has responded yet so the message creator doesn’t have to start an entirely new message.
-Add option to edit or revise messages once sent. If there are any errors in the previous message, a new message must be created rather than sending a follow up response to correct the previous error or an option to edit the message itself.
-If responding in the group chat it doesn't always default to responding to everyone in the group chat. I understand the convenience of being able to choose who you can reply to in a group chat but it ends up creating too many branches of the message making it very confusing.
-Clearer formatting. If someone clicks on an earlier response, it will not show any of the more recent responses in the group message. It will also say it’s only sending to one person sometimes when it is actually sending it to the group.
-Ensure unread messages are always in bold. My managers and I have had issues with unread messages that appear to have been opened
