Communication Overhaul
planned
Melissa Martin
Original title: Centralize Journals and Messages on Client Profiles
Would love the ability to have messages and journals all combined in central location in each clients profile and available for sitters to see the history of the communication and the journals. There would probably need to be an option for clients to be able to send a private message to only management.

Off-hours autoresponder for portal messages
Joette White
A client messages through the portal at 9pm and hears nothing until morning. They do not know whether we saw it, so they text, then call, then message again. One question becomes four touchpoints and an anxious client.
The ask:
- Set business hours on the account.
- An automatic reply on any portal message received outside those hours, with custom text per business.
- Ideally a separate emergency instruction line in that reply, so a genuine emergency knows where to go.
This is the single cheapest expectation-management tool the platform could add. Every other service business our clients deal with already does it.

recurring messages

in communications, could we have an option for messages to automatically resend every so often? For instance, I send birthday cards to each pet when I get the birthday notifications. I would like to have the same birthday message send every year on the same date unless the pet gets marked deceased.
I would like to send my rate increase message every six months.
Thank you

Two-Way Client Text Messaging

We would love to see an option for two-way text messaging directly through Precise Petcare software. This would allow businesses to communicate with clients via SMS while keeping those conversations connected to the client's profile and existing records within the software. Currently, we have to use a separate system for text messaging which makes it difficult to keep all communication organized and accessible to our administrative team.

Adding weight to this from the Power User Crew. Nine businesses hit the same wall.
Messages can only be scheduled as one-time sends. Anything we want to say on a repeating rhythm has to be rebuilt from scratch every time: monthly newsletters, quarterly profile-update prompts, seasonal notices before every holiday period, annual reminders.
The ask: a repeat option on a scheduled message. Monthly, quarterly, annually, or on a named season, with an end date and the ability to pause. Same message, same segment, sent on a schedule instead of manually re-created.

Seeing messages easier & seeing scheduled messages on master schedule

Messaging: 1. Creating scheduled messages to go out with options of more than one date. If we want to create a monthly reminder message we have to set it up each month. 2. On the master schedule show scheduled messages that are to go out on a specific date. If we have a message to go out in October reminding clients to schedule holidays we can see that on the master in a color block at the top of the day.

On the notes to office, could you please add an edit button in case you needed to change a note or add to it?? It’s frustrating and can be confusing to have to start a whole new message.

When I’m in Messages and looking at the list of recently received messages, I would like to be able to click on a client’s name and have it take me back to their profile instead of it opening a new message block to send an email.

The ability to CC select team members when communicating to clients.
