Dual Credit Card + ACH Payment Support
in progress

Clients can now save
both a credit card and a bank account
(ACH) on file, giving them greater flexibility for payments. When both are available, the system will automatically prioritize using the bank account
for automatic charges such as invoicing and recurring payments. How It Works
- Businesses can set up separate gateways for Integrated ACH ProcessingandIntegrated Credit Card ProcessingatBilling > Billing Settings > Online Payments.
- Clients can enter and save both Credit CardandBank Accountinformation.
- When an automatic payment is processed, the system will use the bank accountif one is available. If no bank account is available, the credit card will be used.
- When clients make manual payments, they can choose between their saved credit card or bank account.
Additional Notes
- ACH payment processing currently requires an Authorize.net eCheckorStax ACH-enabledaccount.
- Credit card and ACH setups are independent within the system.
- Support for additional ACH processors will be added in the future.

I wanted to raise a concern regarding payment processing options in PPC.
I explored switching from Stripe to Authorize.net to enable ACH/eCheck payments, but I learned this would actually require a separate merchant account (~$25/month) in addition to Authorize.net fees, bringing the total added cost to roughly $50/month.
What’s frustrating is that Stripe already offers a built-in ACH option, which is more cost-effective for both businesses and clients, but I was informed PPC does not currently support or allow its use.
I’m trying to understand the reasoning behind this, as it seems counterintuitive to block an already available, lower-cost payment method that would reduce fees and improve the client experience.
Is there a specific limitation or policy reason for not enabling Stripe ACH? This feels like something that should be addressed and reconsidered given the impact on both providers and clients.

Are there fees charged on ACH payments?
Adam Smith
Becky O'Neil: No, there should not be. Submit a ticket if you're seeing otherwise.

I activated the ACH feature on 03/06/26. I believe we need an update within the Billing Settings to include a 'Bank Account Required' toggle, mirroring the current functionality for Credit Card settings.
Adam Smith
Jacob Venter: It will still require either a bank account OR a credit card when you use that setting. I'll get the setting wording updated to make that more clear.

Stripe as an ACH option would be great

It would be great to have Stripe as an ACH option.

Target release for this will be later rather than sooner, as we want to support a few more ACH options first.

Amazing! How soon can we start using this feature?

That's awesome, Adam! I'm curious as to why Stripe is available for credit cards but not included in the ACH option. I thought it would be just adding a setting, no?
Melanie Haynes
I really hope Stripe ACH bceomes available because it's an option i have in my Stripe acct but not available to link to PPC.
