Page Permissions for Manager accounts now control both which pages a manager can access and what they can do on each page.
Include
Granular Manager Permissions
through
PPC Labs
, then open
Staff
and add or edit a Manager account. Under
Permissions
, each page can be configured as:
  • Add, Change, Delete & Export:
    Full access to the available actions on that page.
  • View Only:
    The manager can view the page and its records without making changes or exporting information.
  • Custom:
    Select
    Add
    ,
    Change
    ,
    Delete
    , and
    Export
    individually.
For example, a manager can be allowed to add and change scheduling information without deleting it, or view billing information without exporting it.
Permissions apply to the actions performed from each page. Copying and importing records are treated as
Add
, while edits and other operational updates are treated as
Change
. Restricted actions are removed from the interface and also prevented when accessed directly.
Selecting
All Pages
gives the manager
Add, Change, Delete & Export
access by default, while individual pages can still be customized.
Managers can always manage their own availability. The permissions selected for
Availability
determine what they can do with availability belonging to other staff.
These controls do not expand the information a manager can access. Existing restrictions involving financial information, dates, locations, and other record visibility still apply, and
Export
only includes information the manager can already view.
Existing Manager accounts retain their current page access and default action access until their Page Permissions are customized. Administrator permissions are not affected.
