Improve booking process for clients booking overnights

We've received some feedback from our clients regarding booking overnights.
Right now, a majority of our clients are accidentally booking an extra overnight every single time. This causes management to have to follow up with every single reservation to ensure the booking is correct. For instance, a client wants to book 9/12-9/14. So they select 9/12, 9/13 and 9/14, not realizing that they actually just requested 9/12-9/15.
As much as we've trained both our clients and staff members on this issue, there still seems to be confusion. I love the trip feature which allows clients to communicate trip details to us, however it's not mandatory. I feel that if the trip details were mandatory when booking overnights, it would alleviate management having to follow up. It would also clarify the details with our sitters so they know when they're truly supposed to arrive/depart.

Improved handling for overnights would be great. We have a kluge solution that works but requires constant policing by management. We have a service code setup for overnights that are charged and then one that is named "check-out day" for $0. On the schedule we use the check-out day service code to indicate that the client is finishing a boarding visit that began the prior day.
In the example given above, we would have the billable "boarding" service on the schedule for 9/12, 9/13, 9/14 and then for 9/15 we would schedule "check-out day"
It's not pretty, but it keeps the schedule clear, and the total price comes out correct.

This! I would love to be able to book a start and end date and time. It is currently very confusing for overnights as you are forced to use a time block.

We have not yet opened the client portal, but I can guarantee that we will have this same issue with our clients.

Maybe have an “overnight” service that won’t let them book the last night. For example if the client says leave date 9/20 and return date 9/29 it will only book till 28th maybe have the date leave / return?
