Making More Scheduling Preference Options for AssignIQ available

I know this is a newer feature, and really appreciate it already, but it would be great if we had more Scheduling Preference Options for AssignIQ available to us besides just the
Do Not Schedule,
NO overnights, etc. I'd love to be able to tell it to not suggest certain sitters for certain clients whom I know are outside of a sitter's typical service area, or that I know I will never assign that client to them for a variety of reasons. Having more control over how to "train" the AssignIQ feature on who to suggest would make it more individualized (and therefore more useful) to each company. Maybe instead of having boxes that can be checked, we could feed it our own particular parameters to use such as only suggesting sitters within a certain number of miles from the client, or only suggesting sitters who have already done visits for this client in the past, etc.Log In

If you haven’t already done so, it can be very helpful to review and adjust the
AssignIQ "Preferences"
. These preferences allow you to fine-tune how the system prioritizes sitters when making assignment suggestions. For example, if
distance to the client
is an important factor for your business, you can increase the “Nearest” preference
above the default setting. Doing so will give higher priority to pet sitters who are located closer to the client. It’s also important to keep in mind that AssignIQ considers a sitter’s
current location
, not just their home address. This means that if a sitter is already scheduled for a visit near a client’s home (even if they live farther away) the system may still prioritize them because they are nearby at that time. You can also control which sitters are eligible for certain clients:
*
Blocked Sitters:
If there is a sitter you never want assigned to a specific client, you can update the client’s profile to block that sitter
. Once blocked, that sitter will no longer appear as an AssignIQ suggestion for that client.*
Recent Preference:
If you prefer sitters who have previously completed visits for that client
, you can use the "Recent" preference
to prioritize those sitters.Adjusting these preferences can help AssignIQ produce recommendations that better match your scheduling priorities.
