Profile Change Tracking: My Schedule Indicators
in progress
Adam Smith
We've expanded
Profile Change Tracking
to include visual indicators directly on the My Schedule page. When a client updates their profile, staff who have not yet reviewed those changes will see an indicator on that client's upcoming visits.
This ties into the existing Profile Change Tracking system and reflects updates made within the standard 90-day change history window.
How It Works
- When a client updates their profile, the system records the change.
- Staff who have not reviewed the updates will see an indicator on upcoming visits on their My Schedule page.
- The indicator remains until that staff member clicks through to review.
What Happens When Clicked
- Clicking the indicator icon opens the client's profile.
- Only the fields changed since that staff member last reviewedare shown with the normal recent change icon.
- The system records that the updates were reviewed.
- The My Schedule indicator icon disappears for that staff member.
If additional changes are made later, the indicator icon will appear again.

It might also be helpful to include this indicator in the Daily Schedule Notification email so sitters are aware of updates before starting their visits, if they have not yet reviewed it.

This would be nice if the admins could receive a notification that the sitter reviewed the updates.

Julie Gonzalez To expand on Julie's comment, could an Alert be built in under Admin > Tools?

I agree with Shannon Centola’s comment about the admin team being able to see who has not reviewed the changes/updates.
Shannon Centola
This is great, could the indicator icon also show up on the master schedule for the admin team so we know which sitter has not reviewed the changes? Thank you

Shannon Centola I agree with this. Indicator on Master Schedule calendar. Also, in yellow notification box for manager and pet sitter.
Shannon Centola
Heather Jaeger yes the yellow box would be smashing too!

Shannon Centola, what about adding a custom alert to the manager when the pet sitter has reviewed the update?
Shannon Centola
Heather Jaeger this would be great too!

Shannon Centola: I had wondered about adding this to the Master Schedule, but in the same way as sitters experience it (where admins would need to click through and view the changes). But it is more important that the sitter has viewed the changes, so the indicator would be what they have seen, not the person viewing the Master Schedule?
Shannon Centola
Adam SmithYes more important that the sitter has viewed the changes. If a client made changes to their profile and 2 sitters on the schedule and 1 sitter reviewed and 1 sitter did not. Admin would just see it on the Master Schedule on the visits for the sitter who did not. We are saying the same thing but just wanted to clarify. :)

Add when profile was last updated to sitter schedule on app

It would be helpful to have on the sitter schedule when the profile (person or pet) was last updated. This would prompt the sitter to look at the profile(s) for any updates since their last visit.
