Zapier is probably the most requested feature these days and as the tool bag of business owners moves from separate apps to a web of interconnected apps we are joining the latter category.
Our Zapier integration is currently set as Private and using the link at the bottom of this post is the only way you can connect to it. Eventually it will be public. We are starting with just a few Triggers and Actions, not because that’s all we’re going to support, but so we can test those out and then use them as a template for other Triggers and Actions. They are:
Triggers
- New Client: Checks for newly added Client Profiles in the system, so that the client’s information can be synced to another application.
- Client Updated: Checks for updated Client Profiles in the system, enabling the latest details to be synced to another application.
- New Visit: Checks for newly added Visits in the system, allowing that visit’s details to be synced to another application.
- Visit Updated: Checks for updated Visits in the system, enabling those updated details to be synced to another application.
- Completed Visit: Checks for newly completed Visits in the system, allowing the completed status or relevant details to be synced to another application.
Actions
- Create Client: Creates a new Client Profile in the system whenever a client is added in another application.
The client information synced in the above is currently just the basics (name, address, phone and email). We can add more fields to that, although those fields will be unlikely to include ones which are often renamed from the default naming by different companies.

Having a lot of trouble with zap run consistency on the Visit Updated trigger in v1.0.1. I've got an open support ticket to find out if this is possibly a Zapier issue, but figured I'd post it here too.
When testing the Zap, the visit in Precise that I update posts 2 minutes (or less) into Zapier, runs through the rest of the workflow and everything works flawlessly. I can it to work every single time I manually TEST the zap in draft mode. Hasn't failed once.
However, the numerous times I’ve tested the PUBLISHED version of this ZAP, it has never correctly pulled through the updated record. It’s not that the records are being filtered or that there is an error with the zap, the records just aren't there.
When comparing my Precise account's activity log with the zap run history, there are several dozen (or more) records just yesterday that aren't showing up. Screenshots below showing that there were a total of 78 cancelled visits in Precise on Sat. 5/31, yet our Zap Run history shows the last cancelled record that was processed was @ 12:03pm on Friday 5/30.
I'm not sure if there is some kind of limit on the number of records that Zapier can process in a certain amount of time, or if the issue is on the number of records that Precise can push through in that same amount of time. But there is a bottleneck on one side or the other that's keeping records from hitting the trigger.
Has anybody had this same issue?

Adam Smith Has anybody else reported this issue? Still happening for me, no matter what I do I can't get the Visit Updated trigger to process when it's live. It works every single time when I test it in Zapier, hasn't failed once. But when the zap is published, it never works as it should. Happy to show other screenshots or details if they'd be helpful, just let me know.

Would a new trip added to the system be able to be a trigger?

Adam Smith So I am looking at a way to automate a confirmation/reminders email to go out 2 days before the first day of a trip and also to set up a task for a phone confirmation and also set up a request for review 3 days after the end of a trip. Right now we manually invoice trips and bill 2 days before/due on the date of departure and then we tag first and last visits so trying to figure out the right trigger to automate those two reminders.

Could we also Zap inside Precise, like a new client is created from the CRM and then a standard email with the invite is triggered?

Kristin Skelton: You can create a client inside the system from the CRM. The Invite would still need to be done from the system.

Could I Zap into SendJim when I add a new employee? We do neighbor mailings when we add someone to the team.

Kristin Skelton: This is now possible using the 1.0.1 version of the Zapier integration. I will migrate existing Zaps to this new version once it gets more testing, but for now you'll need to connect to 1.0.1 under App Connections and use that.

We are looking at using PetBizCRM and was wondering if this integration would allow, 1. when a client books a new client consultation can the system sent up a profile and send an invite? and 2. is there a way to integrate the review request system... for example could we send a request for review 3 days after the conclusion of a trip... which for us would be when the visit has a certain tag. Thanks.

I’ve been trying to integrate Precise Petcare with Zapier, but I’m finding it challenging to understand what’s actually possible. While I appreciate the information provided in text, a video walkthrough would be so much more beneficial.
Would your team be able to create a short explainer video showing how Precise Petcare works with Zapier? It would be really helpful to see a step-by-step of what can (and can’t) be done — especially for those of us who aren’t sure where the limitations are. Thank you .. loving the software BTW

Michelle Giles: We do plan to create a video walkthrough, but it’s still a bit early. We’re actively building out the Zapier integration, and a video now would be outdated quickly. Once the core functionality is finalized, we’ll produce a proper walkthrough.

the above Private Zapier Integration Link isn't working for us as well. I had originally used the link that was provided in Facebook months back and I still have that link set up in Zapier; however, would it be possible to give us more information as to what the configuration should look like in Zapier as far as what URL we should use etc.
