Auto Invoicing: Clearer Settings and Updated Grouped Visit Handling

What's new
When a client has multiple groups of visits, Auto Invoicing handles each group separately.
For example, if a client books two vacations and the second vacation is not yet within the
Include Visits Scheduled
window, the first vacation can be invoiced while the second waits. Previously, the second vacation could prevent all of that client's visits from being invoiced.Visits scheduled every day are also invoiced without waiting for the entire schedule to end. Eligible visits are grouped by the applicable invoicing period, resolving the issue where daily visits could continue waiting and never be invoiced.
This applies to groups based on
Same Trip
, Consecutive Day
, and Every Other Day
visits. The Auto Invoicing preview shows which grouped visits are waiting.What's clearer
Several existing settings have clearer names and descriptions. Their existing choices and functionality otherwise remain the same:
- Create Invoices Foris nowInvoice by Status.

When a client books multiple blocks of dates throughout the year, have the invoices auto create based on consecutive dates and separate bookings into different invoices instead of puttng them all on one.

This should already be possible by utilizing the
Keep Grouped Visits on Same Invoice

Adam Smith I've contacted support about this previously and it absolutely does not work by selecting consecutive visits. I was told that's just the way it works.

setting of "Anytime in the past or future" is what's causing them to all be invoiced together immediately. If you adjust that to not look that far ahead it will wait to invoice the groups of visits until they are fully within the Visit Window.Melanie Flores

This is needed in a big way!!! My clients like to book ALL of their vacations for the year all at once. Having them all on one invoice causes extra work on my end and confusion on their end.
