Precise Petcare Features

When I open a client from Clients, I am usually in the middle of something on that record. If I leave for any reason, to check the schedule, open an invoice, answer a message, and then come back to Clients, the client is gone and I am looking at an empty search box again. I have to retype the name and reopen the record every single time. What I want is simple. Bring me back to the client I was last on. Either one of these would solve it: The client list remembers the last client I had open and reopens it, or at least keeps it highlighted at the top. A Recently Viewed Clients strip at the top of the Clients page, last five or so, one click to reopen. Why it matters: for anyone doing office work all day this is dozens of extra searches. Each one is a small amount of time, but it breaks concentration every time, and it is the single most repeated wasted action in the software. Nothing about the client changed, so there is no reason the system should forget which one I was on.

Tracking hire and termination dates help the office: • Maintain accurate employment and scheduling records • Track sitter availability history • Ensure only active sitters are assigned to jobs • Support payroll, tax, and administrative documentation • Maintain accountability and performance records • Improve internal organization and reporting • Protect the company in the event of disputes or insurance matters The termination date should be entered immediately when a sitter is no longer active with the company.

When looking at the schedule for any given day, Time Blocks are displayed only when there is at least one visit scheduled for that particular block. If the option to display canceled visits is NOT selected and if there are only canceled visits within a block, that block's banner should not be displayed -- in other words it should be the same behavior as when there are no visits scheduled for the block. This may seem trivial but it seems like an easy opportunity to eliminate extra noise from the schedule without any downside.

Client and Pet Field Directions let you add detailed sub-headings under any Client or Pet field---so you can give your clients extra context without overloading the field label itself. Directions respect your existing visibility settings, so they only appear to the same roles that can already see the field. Here's how it works: Enable Directions : Go to Admin > Business Settings > Clients > Client Fields (or Pet Fields ), and you'll see a new Directions textbox beneath each field label. Type any supplemental instructions here. Role-Based Display : Directions inherit your field's show/hide rules for Clients, Managers, and Sitters---if a user can't see the field, they won't see its directions. Rich, Inline Guidance : Use the Directions box to enter longer, free-form help text---formatting, examples, or extra notes---without crowding the main label.

You can now customize the status colors shown on the Master Schedule and My Schedule pages using the setting at Site Options > Time & Scheduling > Schedule Colors .
