Several established PPC Labs features will become available to everyone on
October 21
. New tools for dashboards, task management, automated exports, security, permissions, and automation are available now in PPC Labs.
Communication Hub + Conversations will separately join PPC Labs on October 21 for opt-in testing. It is not part of the public feature release.
Coming to everyone October 21
Client Onboarding & Information Experience
— The updated onboarding experience guides clients through Profile, Pet, Form, and Billing sections. Clearer completion indicators show what remains unfinished, progress is saved automatically, and clients can return to incomplete information without starting over.
Custom Tag Icons and Tag Ordering
— Businesses can upload custom icons for Client Profile Tags, arrange tags in the order they should appear, and remove tags without disrupting existing assignments. Custom icons display in mobile app versions released in March 2026 or later. Square images provide the best results.
Password Reset Links and Password Visibility
— Businesses can send expiring, single-use password reset links that allow clients and staff to choose their own new password. Password fields also include an option to temporarily display the entered password, making typing mistakes easier to identify.
Auto Invoicing: Clearer Settings and Updated Grouped Visit Handling
— Auto Invoicing settings use clearer terminology, including
Invoice by Status
and
Every Other Day
. When a client has multiple groups of visits, each group is evaluated separately. One group that is not ready no longer prevents the client’s other eligible visits from being invoiced. This also resolves an issue that could prevent
Every Single Day
visits from being invoiced.
Additional workflow improvements
Formatting for Client Policies and Agreements
— Adds text formatting to the Cancellation Policy, Visit Request Policy, and Client Agreements.
Jump to Date in Table View
— Makes it possible to jump directly to records for a selected date on supported date-based tables.
Custom Message When Canceling and Confirming a Visit
— Lets office staff include a custom message while canceling or confirming a visit.
Available now in PPC Labs
PPC Labs can be found at
Admin > Business Settings > PPC Labs
.
Customizable Dashboard
— Businesses using the Modern Interface can choose which panels appear on the Dashboard and arrange them around the information each role needs. Administrators can establish a company default, while individual staff can personalize their own Dashboard within their permissions.
Tasks
— Tasks replaces the To Do List with assigned, trackable work. Tasks can repeat, include reminders, track staff progress, and connect work to related records in Precise Petcare.
Automated Exports to Google Drive
— Schedule daily, weekly, or monthly exports of client, scheduling, billing, payroll, and other business data to Google Drive. Test runs and delivery history make it easier to confirm what was exported and when.
Holiday & Date Automations
— Send client communication before, on, or after a holiday or custom date. Automations can target selected Client Segments and exclude clients who already have services scheduled for the date.
Two-Factor Authentication
— Individual clients and staff can protect their accounts with SMS login codes and trusted devices.
Staff Automations
— Create automated staff emails based on hiring, anniversaries, birthdays, login activity, upcoming assignments, Training Visits, holidays, and custom dates. Automations can be limited to selected Staff Segments and include delivery tracking.
Granular Manager Permissions
— Page Permissions for Manager accounts can separately control whether the manager can add, edit, delete, or export records on each page they can access.
Joining PPC Labs October 21
Communication Hub + Conversations
— Communication Hub brings client and staff conversations together using communication already captured by Precise Petcare. It requires the Modern Interface. Beginning October 21, businesses can enable it through PPC Labs to test the new conversation experience and share feedback.
Thank you to everyone using PPC Labs and sharing feedback. That testing helps us refine these features before making them available to everyone.
